Employment Opportunities

Sweetwater Pools is always hiring for summer employment. We need Lifeguards, Assistant Managers, Managers, Supervisors, and Swim Instructors. Current Red Cross certification is required for all positions and we offer these classes every weekend starting in March. The job descriptions are listed below. Lifeguard
Must be at least 15 years of age, able to communicate and work well with others and hold current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training certification, including CPR-FPR and First Aid from Sweetwater Pools.
 
 

Assistant Manager

Must be at least 17 years of age or have previous experience with Sweetwater Pools, be willing to work effectively with others in a leadership role, have good communication and organizational skills and hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training certification, including CPR and First Aid, from Sweetwater Pools.
 
 

Manager

Must be at least 19 years of age or have previous experience with Sweetwater Pools, have excellent communication and organizational skills, strong leadership abilities, preferably at least one year's experience as an assistant manager, and hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training certification, including CPR and First Aid, from Sweetwater Pools.
 
 

Supervisor

Must be at least 21 years of age or have previous experience with Sweetwater Pools, have one or more years experience as a manager/assistant manager, a strong command of communication and organizational skills, excellent leadership abilities, dependable transportation and hold a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training certification, including CPR and First Aid, from Sweetwater Pools.
 
 

Swim Instructor (WSI)

Must be at least 16 years of age, have good leadership and communication skills, a desire to work with children and adults, hold a current American Red Cross WSI r.09 certification, and be able to work afternoons from approximately 3 - 7 pm weekdays. Applicant must have reliable transportation.
 
 

Human Resources Clerk(s)

Must be at least 18 years of age, have good leadership and communication skills including the telephone and email. Must be able to work a minimum of Saturday and Sunday starting in April, and then work Monday - Saturday or Tuesday - Sunday starting in mid-May through the end of season.
